Uganda Safari Guides Association, since 2000, is a team of tourist guides and expert specialists in tourism sub-activities like birding, butterflies, reptiles, and cultural tourism. The objective is to provide a forum for them to gain exposure and recognition as a key component player in the tourist sector. Uganda Safari Guides Association is known for its integrity, being consistent with its goals and honestly providing services to the tourists, organisations, and corporate sectors. USAGA provides all necessary information and skills to their partners in order to provide the best safari tourist services in Uganda. USAGA ensures that its members are experienced and skilled, helps them to contribute to the development of sustainable tourism in an ethical manner and provides a better working environment for stakeholders, particularly USAGA members and other government agencies. USAGA’s organisational structure is governed by the General Assembly whose authority is delegated to the Executive Committee and implemented through a secretariat based in Kampala. Currently, the USAGA membership includes ordinary, corporate, and associate members, which at the momnt exceeds over 600 members with more as affiliates and partners. Our aim at Trafeka is to ensure our partners and stakeholders within the industry can come together to deliver sustainable practices in the tourism industry. They are ingrained and committed to a journey of sustainability and to achieve a co-existence between wildlife, communities, and our environment.
