1. White water rafting

Done in Jinja - East Africa’s adventure capital, on the longest river in the world, River Nile, White water rafting is arguably the most fascinating water adventure activity in Uganda. It is done with raft paddles as each member of the team fully participates in the activity. Travelers raft through the smooth and rough rapids of the Nalubale, as they join up in teams headed by a guide. Find high rapids at Bugaji falls, wild waters reserve and at Itanda falls, where most of the bumpy tossing and turnings take place. However, White Water Rafting isn’t only about navigating through rapids, stops are made at some of the Islands with an amazing collection of green vegetation, birds and primates like Vervet Monkeys. Come with us! The memory of floating down the rapids of the longest river on earth will stay with you forever.

2. Bungee jumping

Bungee Jumping is one of the scariest experiences and activities done in Jinja city at the Nile River, but the memory lasts a lifetime. Normally the person jumping is connected to a cord that stretches as the individual drops from the top, to the bottom, touching the surface of river Nile. This worthy and brave adventure takes place on a high land, especially cliffs or bridges. It might be common all over the world but doing it on the longest river in the world is extremely out of the ordinary. This is where the fright and thrill comes in. Open to all interested travelers throughout the year, the Bungee jumping experience takes about 2 minutes at most, but the breathtaking fall leads to a lifetime experience. Our trained team of professionals will ensure you have a jump of a lifetime.

3. Kayaking

Kayaking and Canoeing offer travelers a chance to not only experience the great Nile River, but also - the surrounding villages, local people, farmlands and birds. We recommend to you the Grade 5 Tandem Kayaking as it's the ultimate activity for thrill seekers, allowing you with little or no experience of kayaking & canoeing before, to take on some of the biggest and best rapids in just a single day. You'll learn the flow of the river, back and forward paddling, basic strokes, rescue and capsizing skills – All with our experienced guides and support team.

4. Boat Cruise

Uganda being a heaven to a variety of water-bodies & adventurous safaris, we advise that you don’t just stand by the shores of these many water bodies. A Boat Cruise is one of the amazing memorable experiences awaiting you in the Pearl of Africa. The true definition of “the pearl of Africa” can be explored in either way – There are magnificent features and eye captivating attractions to see beyond the shoreline of African water bodies. This activity can take a full or half day but it is a great time to party and enjoy beautiful moments with close friends, all while marveling at the water with a friendly team which sets us apart from other operators. Those who love fishing can cast their lines to catch large Nile Perch as well.

5. Horseback riding safaris

The pearl of Africa offers more on exploration through horseback rides, as this adventurous activity takes you through the village hills, tea plantations, local villages and wild game parks & reserve areas. Horseback riding is done at the Nile where it brings relaxation while sightseeing on the great River. It is also done in Lake Mburo national park and takes you through the savannah vegetation of the park while viewing wildlife such as Impalas, zebras, and antelopes together with birds. Horseback riding is done at the Nile where it brings relaxation while sightseeing on the Great River.

6. Quad biking experience

This is another adventurous activity in Uganda. Travelers drive through the forests, local farms, homesteads and villages while biking and this is mostly done in Jinja. It gives a traveler a chance to explore and tour Jinja city while using the bike. This activity is headed by our experienced guides as they take you through the different routes of the town.

7. Family float

Not forgetting the young ones, while having fun on your safari, a family float is another activity on that Nile that is relaxing and refreshing. This water sports activity takes you across the calm flow between the sides of the river and vegetation; You can also take a swim in the cold soothing waters on the Nile while on an adventure trip to Uganda – “The Pearl Of Africa”.
